Expanding on this, honestly this is like 0%effort.wad. The sounds are god-awful, the slowness is unbearable, the enemies are ridiculously strong, and you start in a fire fight. What the hell. I really don't want to sound like an ass, but this is one of the worst wads I've ever played. Excluding the fact I'm not sure who in their right mind would want to make a wad where you kill osama bin laden, it has so many issues it is almost impossible to count them all, but I'll try:

1) You move SLOWLY. It's a pain. Hell, even with the hasterune it looks like I was running at the speed of someone who was crapping his pants.
2) The enemies take *forever* to die while you die in like 4 hits. Honestly, what's up? They don't even wear any kind of armor, while I assume some US marine would be better prepared than those guys.
3) The new weapons are apparently taken from NAM and one of them appears to be a model rip of modern warfare or something... Pretty bad.
4) Why are hexen mages defending osama?
5) Why does osama shoot bullets from what appears to be a bottle?
6) Did I mention that you move slowly and the game is basically unplayable?
7) It looks really, really bland. Completely unappealing, I bet the complex itself did look bad but it certainly looked better than this.

I mean no offense to you, but I'm definitely not looking forward for future wads of the same quality of this one.

Oh man. I'd rather listen to Chewbacca giving it to Helen Keller than play that wad again. That was honestly, the worst thing I've ever played, for all of the reasons Corpse cited above. What made you think it was a good idea to make the Doomguy that slow? Also, you've got broken code EVERYWHERE, me and several other coders attempted to fix it-- that's some of the shoddiest coding I've seen since FSRHQ.

I'd suggest trying to fix it and re-release it, but I honestly think you're better off scrapping the whole thing and starting again.

Also the wad wasn't really good and I can't tell if this is suppsoed to be a joke or not. The walking speed is the slowest I've ever seen.

No offense taken, i can take a honest review, although when i overlook your complaints, everythings indicate to me, you never read any text file or whatsoever, where it was stated that only skill1 would be the easiest skill for a singleplayer.
All the other skills are not meant to be for a Doom Marine style of fighting, as i would call it, rush in at the speed of a jetplane, and bombard everything that moves.
If i would not have slowed down the Soldier (not Doom Marine, i mean, what the hell is a Doom marine doing in Abbottabad??) you might even finished this map within 12 seconds instead of 5 minutes. :P

1) My default settings are set to 'run always', so at the speed as it was set in this wad now, its perfect ! The player does not have the speed of a Doom Marine, and the seal in the real world does not have it either.
My guess is, that (not just you, but in general) you got to get used to Doom-Marine-speed too much.
2) At skill1 the enemies does not take 'forever' to die. All the other skills are. So my guess was, again, you didnt read anything out there, and automaticly started at skill 3 or 4. Just don't do that in Singleplay, unless you are REAL (GODLIKE) GOOD :P
3) The text file and or the CREDIT lump stated where the weapons comes from. The model rip was ripped from Call of Duty to be precies, and i agree that the result is abit poor, so yes. BUT...i guess you have used cheats, because THAT weapon was not supposed to have in THAT map.
4) Excuse me? Are the so called Hexen mages still look the same to the mages you think they are? Never seen people in a burqa? In black?
5) No, he throws out a bottle when he dies. :P THAT was meant to be a joke sort of. CNN told us that apperently Osama liked Cola. His 'gun' looked indeed poor, so are the other beard warriors. Eventually i was going to give him a Ak47, aswell as an extra weapon for the player to carry.
But if this wad is so damn bad, i guess i don't have to polish things up do i ?
6) Hmmm, thats weird, i can play this so why not others? Are you that awfull bad in playing a game? I thought i was the worsed player out there.
Anyways, i agreed that i had to put in alittle more cover in that burnside area (the area where the player starts), but you know, i was working on this for weeks, (sprites costs lots of time) and my resources were poor, so i did not want to put too much time in this.
Maybe if i did, it would come out a little better i guess.
7) I was never inside that complex, so everything was made was the outside from poor photo's around the internet. I agree that i have skipped a few upper windows on the sides, and did not put much effort in door cases, AND the building is quite small, when you compare this building to other games.
Nothing that i could not do, but i wanted to bring out the first release not over a year or so.

I AM going to make a few more wads like this 'bland wad', maybe its better to take your advise and should keep my wads for my friends only, and not bring out to the bigger public.
Whether this was meant to be a joke wad or a serious wad, is up to you.
All i wanted was a combination of both, i mean, why would Osama throw up a bottle of Cola :lol:
I was planning to let him throw up some money too, since CNN told the world he had 500 euro's sewed in in his coat.
Anyways, thats all of the list i guess.

Again, im not taking any offenses, im not mad, but now i have seen what the public really wants... and im sorry, i can't compete to that need.

- The map is ugly, yeah.
- While I spent countless hours playing various incarnations of Real Guns, I wasn't able to kill more than a few guys on skill level 3 and more. Remember - seasoned Doomer can get insulted if you force him to play on skill 1. Always balance the mod to be for experienced Doomer reasonably playable on skill 3, as it is the default. You can add more skill levels, to the harder end of the scale if you want (there can be up to 8 skill levels).
- And the Osama ate like 4 grenades
- The guys take two magazines to put down, even on the easiest difficulty, but they don't shoot (so the game is just about shooting helpless terrorists which take forever to die)
- I immediately recognized the burqas and thougt "why the hell am I supposed to kill unarmed women". Argument that "you are not forced to, they don't even shoot" is not valid - this is Doom, you are supposed to shoot everything that moves. Plus they usually fall victim to friendly fire.

The burqa's is just a freedom of choice, whether you shoot them or not. They are indeed harmless. Innocent. They have no say
in anything in those countries, or partly that country now-a-days. therefore they cary no weapons. Its a man's job.
That is, as far as i know of.
I do have seen women with guns before, but im not sure it was in that region and that it was for the kill. (i only saw a woman shooting, for fun, in the air)

EDIT: I must say, i have no problems whatsoever at skill4, except to get Osama down is a problem at singleplay.
Its sad i can't fraps any video right now, otherwise i would have made a walkthrough, or 'what is the best strategy' to do this, for you guys/girls.
But keep in mind, skill2, skill3, skill4 is more meant for Multiplayer, But, multiplayer spots has not been placed yet.
Feel free to do so, and try it on multiplayer, might be much more easier.
Don't bash in like Doom Marine style, use walls, shoot a salvo around the corners, hide under the roof.
You start with a full gear, so whats the problem?
I agree that i should have made a little more cover at the start position, even if it was just a little unfinished or broken wall where you spawn....
I'll do that in the next version, and the Osama building might get bigger.
As my friends knows me, detailing comes later, but don't expect lots of fancy details.
THAT will never happen.

You have to call clearskill first, then you define up to 8 skill blocks. Technically, you can define even more, but those won't be visible in the menu (but still will be accessible via console).

You see, I really don't want to discourage you, because even though *I* don't like the idea of killing osama bin laden, as long as you do, it's fine. But, if the wad is next to unplayable even with cheats on, then there are huge issues going on. Sometimes it's best if you keep the gameplay more akin to doom itself rather than deciding to make it more "realistic", as this will generally please the audience better. This is because aside for the poor detail what really holds this back down is the fact that most people found it downright unplayable.

Don't give up, though. Best of luck for your future projects.

EDIT: Also, as a reminder for everyone, when you say a project sucks it is usually best to exlain *why* it does, even when the reasons are obvious. Look at CommanderZ's post or mine for reference.

I agree, CorpseGr1nder and CommanderZ posts are much more CONSTRUCTIVE critism.
Everything else i kinda let it go, or sometimes im not even read them, but hey, i have feelings too,
so yeah, they kinda made me pretty sad. Angry? no, not angry, more likely sad, and to be honest,
i did expected such critism al along, why would you people think that i kept the first post extremely short.

Anyways, aside that, i'll add the said skill options (MAPINFO), and place some cover so that the player starts safe at all times.
Maybe alittle more stimpacks here and there, even i had some rough times, esspecially when i have to take it on Osama. :lol:
In reality i know that 1 or 2 well aimed bullits are enough to kill you, thats why i made the enemie shoot with lots of damage.
To give the player the same ammount of bullit damage, will make the game alot easier again and giving the enemie a higher damage
number is a waste then.
So yeah, i'll make a few changes here and there.

Btw, if anyone has a problem with virtually killing Bin Laden for whatever reason you may have, sure, don't play it.
In the end, i have made this wad not for you, but for my own pleasure sort of speak.
I had pleasure in making this, so if any of you likes to share that pleasure....? Its just a game. :)

Not impossible, just fucking harder. But i'll change it so that skill1 as it is in version 0.1 becomes skill3.
skill Ultra Violence will become the settings that now is skill2, which will be 'impossible'.

Edit: i was just thinking while making some coffee... What kind of weapon do you choose?
Don't forget you have two machineguns out there. The M16 which has a 16 bullit burst, and the M60.
You use the M60 machinegun, you will see you can get much more farther than before.
But there is a flipside, the M60 uses LOTS and LOTS of ammo.
So, every missed bullit, might be a waste, and you might end up empty..... unless you cheat...?!
Also the M60 takes alot of vissuals away when shooting. (That was on purpose)
Actually i wanted the said weapon making you NOT MOVING, because of its size and its weight.... :uhh:

I don't have a problem killing him, I'd love to kill him in this wad, but from what Corpse and CommanderZ said about it, seems I won't really have fun... I'll download it anyway and try.

I guess the main problem with the weapons is that they're useless. I don't really mind if they're from NAM, really, but since they do absolutely nothing on enemies (at least on the skill I tried it on) I pretty much just spammed "summon bfgball".

I would suggest you get a more "proper" arsenal, as in, a pistol, a shotgun and a machinegun, instead of just machineguns. Also, I don't exactly live in bin laden's house but I guess you may want to redesign the place in a desert outfit.
